About the event
9th Annual Buckhannon RiverFest, a celebration of water! Come enjoy paddling, yoga, music, food, and community in memory of April Pierson Keating. Free activities for all! 9:30 a.m. Hampton to Riverwalk Paddle (shuttle provided; 4.5 mile flatwater route); 10:00 a.m. Land Acknowledgement and Yoga (accessible yoga flow inspired by water); 11:00 a.m. Educational Exhibits and Vendors, Beginner Kayak Instruction (kayaks provided), and Live Music (Elk River Ramblers); 3:00 p.m. Interfaith Water Blessing (bring water from a local source to contribute).
